We would love to hear from anyone looking to promote their product or website. Please note: we reserve the right to refuse your product’s or website’s inclusion if it does not fit the nature of this blog, but we do try our best to make sure it will work. The reviewing and posting of our opinion about your product is a mutually-beneficial service generating traffic for both of the sites.
Sponsoring a giveaway:
Another great way to spread the word about your products and website is to sponsor a giveaway! Companies sponsoring the giveaway are responsible for shipping prizes to winners as well as for any tax or shipping and handling fees. It is preferred that one non-returnable item be sent to us for review before the giveaway since giveaways naturally go along with reviews, but this is only a suggestion.
We will write a review of your product (if appropriate) and at the end of the post, will announce the giveaway (to be no less than one week in length). Its preferred for readers to enter contests by leaving a comment on the post, liking Facebook pages and tweeting an announcement using Twitter. We will recommend, although not require, that they visit your website. When the giveaway ends, a random number generator will be used to select the winner/winners ( a screenshot of the number selected on the winner’s post will be included). We can then, at your discretion, either collect the addresses and forward to you for direct shipping to them or have them contact you directly.
Review Guidelines:
As of October 2010, product reviews have now become sponsored initiatives. Each review will contain text letting readers know that the post was sponsored by a brand.
