This winter, one of my favorite Goodwill finds was this Lands’ End down coat.
I had always wanted a long down coat, but was never comfortable enough with being fat to wear one.
Because, really, what fat girl wants to add the bulk of a down coat?
When I found this coat at Goodwill, I went against my rule of sale-color-tags-only and paid the full $8.99.
It’s probably the most unflattering coat I own, but I’ve worn it almost every day since I bought it.
What a difference 80 lbs. makes.
